Holly Parks
President
Holly brings a unique coupling of expertise to assist you in all aspects of your individual and small business tax needs. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. Parks Tax & Consulting PLLC is a licensed CPA firm in the state of Texas.
Holly has over 15 years of experience in public accounting, previously having been employed by Deloitte Tax LLP, providing services in expatriate tax and mobility HR. Her specialties include US taxation of expatriates and foreign nationals and advising multinational companies in all areas of their global mobility programs including global tax implications, tax policy review and creation, tax equalizations, cost projections, and compensation planning.
Holly has founded her reputation on providing a highly personalized tax experience to individuals and executives. She is detail oriented, research savvy, and has a deep understanding of the complex and technical tax systems at the federal and state levels. She has resolved many complex IRS inquires and audits.
Holly has been involved in equestrian sport for nearly 30 years and was an active professional for over 12 years, possessing both her USEA ICP Instructor’s Certification through Level II and her USDF Bronze Medal in Dressage. She returned to amateur status in 2021 and is currently producing a young homebred mare for dressage. She has a thorough understanding of operations of competition, breeding, training, boarding, and veterinary care for equine sport.
Mary Wood
Associate Accountant
Mary Wood brings over a decade of small business ownership experience and four years of accounting industry expertise to Parks Tax & Consulting PLLC. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma Christian University. Mary is currently pursuing her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license to further enhance her professional credentials. She is also a 2021 graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, reflecting her strong commitment to entrepreneurship and financial education.
Originally from East Texas, Mary and her husband, along with their three dogs, relocated to the Houston area in 2023. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys watching Longhorn football and New York Yankees baseball, spending time with family, and designing jewelry.
Regina Bedolla
Junior Accountant & Communications Lead
Regina holds a marketing degree from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. With over 5 years of experience in the digital marketing industry, she has successfully helped small businesses achieve growth by integrating digital strategies such as SEO, content marketing and social media marketing.
Regina recently expanded her role at Parks Tax & Consulting PLLC to include Junior Accountant alongside her existing position as Communications Lead. In addition to her background in client communications and marketing, she now supports bookkeeping and tax return preparation. She is currently pursuing an Advanced Technical Certificate in Professional Accounting at Lone Star College, which will qualify her to sit for the CPA exam upon completion.
As a fun fact, prior to starting a career in digital marketing and communications, she was a professional classical ballet dancer and owned a dance studio in Mexico City.
Grace Egbert
Junior Accountant
Grace recently graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in business management with an emphasis in Finance. Originally from Utah, Grace moved to Houston two years ago and is enjoying the new scenery and excellent food the city has to offer.
With a passion for accounting and tax preparation, Grace has gained valuable experience through internships at both public and private accounting firms. Most recently, at FORVIS LLP, Grace prepared tax filings for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. She developed proficiency in technical accounting, financial data analysis, and communication.
Now based in Houston, Grace is excited to develop her skills and further her career at Parks Tax & Consulting, benefiting from the expertise of Holly and the rest of the team. Outside of work, Grace enjoys traveling, running, and playing the piano.
Amanda Sanguedolce
Administrative Assistant
Amanda assists Holly with many behind-the-scenes client management tasks such as engagement letter preparation, managing project workflow, and oversight of client deadlines. Her addition to our team will boost Holly's ability to focus her time on client deliverables and client projects.
Amanda was born in Iowa and was raised in Houston and Magnolia. She holds an Electronic Engineering degree from ITT Institute and worked 13 years with AT&T as a Network Center Technician. During these years, she developed an ability to work under pressure and refined her communication and organizational skills. She also found she had an ability to build strong and long lasting relationships with customers, something she looks forward to applying in her new job with us.
As a fun fact, Amanda is a self-taught baker of cakes and cupcakes. She started making them for her kids' birthdays and they were so popular that friends started asking her to make cakes for their special events.
